Winter break

It’s been way too long between posts, I’ve some ideas but nothing that has jelled into something to write about yet. I’ve got a few pictures of favorite caches, nothing that would be considered spoilers, just ideas for new cachers. And I’ve dreamed of getting back into the kayak, but take a look at the photo – it’s covered with snow, not much now, but the forecast is for a few more inches this afternoon and overnight.

So in the meantime I’ve set up a NAS (Network Attached Storage), and a Webcam. It looks out of the computer room window to show the weather here and updates every couple of minutes during the day. I also set it up to show off some of my woodturnings that are for sale on Etsy. And when I have some free time and the weather cooperates I have been out caching.

Oh, and some photos for a Weekly Assignment of the Central Maryland Photographers Guild. These weekly assignments are challenging, consisting of one word. Then we have to find a way to portray it in a photo. So far they have been: Breakfast, Macro, Tired and coming up are Sleep, Body Parts (ok that one is two works), Romance. The list goes on for the whole year. I like this kind of challenge better than taking a picture every day for a year or the “12 of 12”, where one is to take 12 photos on the 12th of each month.
