Maryland’s tribute to her loyal sons, who served in the United States Navy During the war for The Preservation of The Union

Maryland furnished 4152 men who participated in the important naval battles of the Civil War.

Fort Fisher, Jannuary 13th – 15th., 1865

Erected by the veterans association of Maryland, September 12th, 1996

taken from the base of the monument in the Civil War National Cemetery in Baltimore, Md.
