The BIG Brown ones

The OWPC this week is “BEAR“. Ok, you don’t know what OWPC means? Let me give you a hint – One Word Photo Challenge. Not having many bears roaming in central Maryland I had to dig back through the archives once more, soon the word and the weather will work with me and I’ll get fresh entries for these challenges.

These two brown bears, probably injured Grizzlies and would not survive long in the wild, so they spent their time in a shelter area near Anchorage. Some of the other injured animals included Black Bears, a Bald Eagle with only one wing, some Moose and Elk.
