“Well, we can go to the hardware store, then make a stop to see if I can find something special that Grandma wants for her birthday.” And they headed to the car. Jimmy liked riding with Grandpa, in his sports car. They buckled their seatbelts and off they went to the first stop. Wandering through the hardware store Jimmy asked dozens of questions.

At the next stop, the local Antique Barn, Grandpa looked high and low for a Cast Iron griddle, for making pancakes when Jimmy stayed over. Meanwhile Jimmy want wandering off, then came running back, grabbed Grandpa’s hand and drug him to a great find. Pointing he asked “Is that a Lava Lamp?”

  1. It does kind of look like a lava lamp! I wonder if Jimmy talked grandpa into buying that for grandma? Great story, Mike!

Lava lamp it is, I never saw that coming. [i think that you need to replace – wondering – with wandering ]

I’m not quite sure if it’s a lava lamp, but I can definitely see the possibility! Neat perspective.
