Working in rivers had one advantage for the artist, he had plenty of rocks at hand for building what some called Cairns, but he just thought of them as Balancing Rocks or Stone Sculptures. When he arrived in the mountains far from his home things were really different.

For a while he just sat and admired the stonework of the Master. Then he went looking or more, soon realizing that they were too big to carry back, so he used them where he found them and that they might never be seen except by the occasional hiker or explorer.
