Hey Froggie, Come Here

3-fffaw-photo-20170130195545104The morning’s shower didn’t last long, just enough to wet the parking-lot. Jimmy didn’t care about getting his shoes wet, he wanted to make big splashes, the biggest. That’s when he noticed something moving. A Frog! Frogs in the parking lot always piqued his interest.

Within seconds Jimmy was on his hands and knees crawling under the Pampas Grass trying to capture the small amphibian. The frog spent its energy trying to escape being put into a pants pocket. it succeeded, hopping into a pile of old leafs.

But when Jimmy got home his mom was horrified at the condition of his shoes and jeans. So of course she made him strip in the laundry room, then head up to get a hot bath. How humiliating.

  2. Jade M. Wong says:

What’s the point of having fun if you can’t get a little dirty doing it, right? Haha!

  3. James says:

When my boys were little, they and the little girl next door, all stripped off their shirts in the backyard and painted the upper halves of their bodies with charcoal briquettes. When I discovered this, I sent her home (she lived next door), had the boys strip right there, and then marched them upstairs and into the bathtub.

  5. Humiliating indeed! Great little tale.
