A Photo a Week Challenge: Livestock
I only seem to photograph animals while on vacation. Hawaii is a bit overrun with hei heis (aka chickens). I’m not sure why they call them hei hei, but they were EVERYWHERE! The lovely rooster was at a plantation where we enjoyed a delicious and festive luau. He was moving so quickly, he’s not quite in focus, but the colors of his feathers are still beautiful.IN A NEW POST CREATED FOR THIS CHALLENGE, SHARE A PHOTO OR TWO OF LIVESTOCK.
Yes, this is my second answer to the livestock challenge, the photos are new and I totally forgot they fit the challenge. They are not the huge, or even the small animals one thinks of as livestock, but some farmers rely on them. Honey Bees

The beekeeper is examining one of the hive’s frames.

The most important member of the colony is the Queen Bee, she is the bee with the yellow dot on her back.

We have several friends who keep hives, and they sell the honey so, yes, bees definitely fit the livestock theme. Wonderful photos, again! Thanks for joining a second time! 🙂
