A Photo a Week Challenge: Over 100 Years Old
To us newbie Americans, that’s amazing. In a few years, we will be celebrating our 250th anniversary as a country, so anything that’s 100 years or older is very old to us.
IN A NEW POST CREATED FOR THIS CHALLENGE, SHARE A PHOTO OR TWO OF THINGS 100 YEARS OLD OR OLDER.
About half a dozen years ago, after a heavy rain, an old tree came down. When the local community association had the tree cleaned up, only the stump remained. What an opportunity! Counting the annual rings are a bit difficult at times, but at a first glance it looks like this tree was about 150 years old when it met it’s demise.
