Grand Openings

Another challenge by nancy merrill photography A Photo a Week Challenge: Opening

I love using arches, doors, and windows to frame images. Using an opening as a frame can create interest and a unique way to see something you’ve looked at a million different times. It can also invite the viewer to want to explore more, to see more.

Openings come in all shapes, sizes, and most of all – the purpose of the opening.

Over the Patuxent River, or is it under Route-108

Through a mountain

For an afternoon sailing on the Chesapeake
