Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Wheels

This week the topic is Wheels. The main focus of your photo should have at least one wheel in it. Wheels come in all shapes and sizes and can be used for a variety you of objects. I’m looking forward to what you all decide to post. I just want you to have some fun with your photography.

This wheel is on the Rebecca T Ruark, one of the few remaining Skipjacks sailing on the Chesapeake Bay. Her home port is Tilghman Island. The skipjack is a traditional fishing boat used on Chesapeake Bay for oyster dredging. It is a sailboat which succeeded the bugeye as the chief oystering boat on the bay, and it remains in service due to laws restricting the use of powerboats in the Maryland state oyster fishery.

About Mike

I'm an avid bicyclist, that also enjoys Kayaking, Nature Photography, Cross Country Skiing and Geocaching. There's nothing more boring than sitting indoors in "good" weather.
